Q: What training do I need to start a troop? A: Orientation, Troop/Groop Management and the program level training for whatever level your girls are at. Q: What forms are required to start a troop? A: Registration forms for at least 5 girls and two adults. Health History forms for each girl (provided on the back of each registration form). Q: Who do I send my troop registrations to? A: Our Service Unit Registrar: Peggy Goddard 8324 Via Sonoma #69 La Jolla, Ca. Q: Why do I need to send my registrations to the Service Unit Registrar when it says on the form to send it to Council? A: Council receives hundreds of registrations from each of 70 or so Service Units throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties. There are only a few paid staff members to process the registrations. The Service Unit registrar makes sure all the information needed is filled out and that the correct amount of money is turned in, saving Council thousands of dollars which can then go toward more programs for girls. The Service Unit Registrar also keeps a copy of each person's registration. |
