TEAM REPORTS
- Registrar - Peggy Goddard
- Spring Registration packets will be available at the March meeting.
Please attend or send a representative.
- Treasurer - Wyndham Jackson
- The Service Unit bank account balance will be $2224.59, once the check is written to
Chari Fairley's trust fund. Council is trying to find out the account number of the trust fund.
- Bank Authority Forms must be redone if account number changes, signer changes, etc.
A Bank Authority Form should be filled out each year; it can just be initialed if nothing
has changed.
- This is a good time to make sure your Troop Bank Account is balanced. Start filling in
the Troop Cash Detail Report to be ready for year end financials.
- Activity Director - Laura Wheeler
Camp Book: Laura brought in a Camp Book last month. Copies of that book were available for leaders who wanted one.
Please ask Laura for any desired information about camping, activities, etc.
- Recognitions - Pat Pickett
Leaders who completed training in the last month were recognized.
- Announcements - Peggy
- First Aid/CPR class, Thursday, March 6, 6 - 10 PM. The class will be held in
the room South of our regular meeting room at the La Jolla Presbyterian Church.
CPR: 6 - 8 PM, First Aid 7:45 - 10 PM. 1 Part: $30, both parts: $48. Money due
the night of the class. Contact Maria Beaupre with any questions (858-270-3301).
- Leader/Daughter Tea, Saturday, June 7, 2 - 4 PM, (Tentative Date). Peggy Goddard's
troop is organizing the tea. Recognitions for outstanding leaders/parent volunteers
can be done there. Please notify Pat or Peggy if you have an outstanding volunteer you
would like to recognize. We would also like to recognize any Bronze, Silver or Gold
award recipients. Please let us know who they are so we can send them an invitation.
- Fun Faire, Saturday, February 22, from 9 AM -12 Noon at La Jolla Elementary
- Troop 3270 - Bridget Breitenberg, leader
- Check in at the parking area on Girard Street.
- Be sure to bring Permission Slips and Health Histories in a zip lock bag and a
troop donation for the Juliette Low Friendship Fund.
- Those who have not paid can pay at the entrance.
- Encampment - Tina VanVechten
- March 28 - 30 at Winnacka
- March 29, 10AM - 3:30 PM for Brownies
- Registered:
- Brownies 88 girls/24 adults
- Older Girl Scouts 132 girls/37 adults
- Tina is presently planning rotations and making a list of jobs so other adults can help.
- Brownie Day: 10 AM - 3:30 PM.
- The Brownie bus will go, leaving from La Jolla Elementary at 8:30 AM, returning 5:00 PM.
- Margaret Armstrong is coordinating the bus transportation.
- Tina is looking for a Brownie Encampment Director. Duties will include coming to meetings,
registering the Brownies, starting them on their rotations, getting adults to their stations.
- Brownie Encampment Planning Meeting, 7:15 - 8:15 PM next Wednesday.
